Diesel Generators Directory

Print

The Diesel Generators Directory is an interactive online map which provides information about the ownership, use, location and configuration of electricity producing, diesel-fuelled generation plant in South Australia.

Data contained in the Directory was compiled by IT Power Australia in 2013 based on a voluntary survey. The database was collected with the intention of increasing the available information on diesel generation use in South Australia.

Selected data has also been made available as a spatial data layer on the South Australian Resource Information Geoserver (SARIG). SARIG is an online application which enables users to search, view and download information relating to mineral, petroleum and geothermal industries. The data is available in the Layer List under Infrastructure-->Electricity in SARIG.
