Bioenergy Roadmap Programs Print

To ensure that hotspot regions are best equipped to develop the bioenergy potential for the area, RenewablesSA and the Low Carbon Economy Unit have developed the Bioenergy Roadmap Programs.

The first component, Bioenergy Planner, will utilise existing Government resources from Green Industries SA and PIRSA in the Limestone Coast region to provide a first point of contact and facilitation.

The second component, Bioenergy Connect, a $50,000 program, will be administered out of the Regional Development Australia, Limestone Coast Region. Upon successful application, companies will have the use of a bioenergy mentor to guide them through the conceptual stage of developing a project. Successful applicants will have a specific allocation of funded time to establish the energy use, potential available biomass, and relevant technology that could benefit the configuration of the business.
